About Kelley Apple
Kelley has always believed in the healing power of movement.
While building a career in the IT and corporate world, she discovered the meditative rhythm of running. Yoga later became a transformative part of her journey, opening a deep spiritual practice that continues to inspire her today. Kelley is passionate about health, wellness, and guiding others through movement and energy work during times of personal growth and healing.
Grief yoga became especially meaningful in her own healing journey. Kelley understands how isolating grief can feel and believes that even the gentlest movement, combined with a sense of community, is essential for healing. Grief yoga offers a way to release emotional energy that can become held in the body, helping it to move, transform, and heal.
Kelley is a certified Reiki Master Teacher, Grief Educator, Yoga Instructor, and Hospice Volunteer. She is also on track to complete her four-year healing certification through the Barbara Brennan School of Healing.

Yoga has been instrumental in my own healing which is why I hope to help others discover its power. Students have told me that grief yoga classes have been a transformative journey allowing them to shift their thoughts and release them. Grief is a very personal and unique experience, and some show up in a raw state, while others are blocked from their emotions and need to connect to and express their grief. Some of us cry in this class, and there is also laughter. It is brave to show up and do this beneficial and healing work.
-
All people experiencing grief are welcome including loss of a loved one, a difficult health diagnosis, or loss of a job to give some examples. All clients are given space to express their grief.

Gentle yoga is for anyone who desires a slow, supportive and accessible practice. Participants include those new to yoga, those recovering from an injury, athletes, pregnant or postpartum women and seniors. These classes are less about performance, and more about presence. They are wonderful support for anxiety and stress.
